S is for Simplicity

So many s’s. I pondered them for weeks. My brain was spinning. I was overwhelmed. And then I took a step back.

Breathe.

Breathe again.

“Let’s keep it simple,” I heard.

So here you have it:

S is for Sarah. That’s me. I like me.

S is for safety. Without it- fear steps in.

S is for surrender. I must.

S is for sadness. It’s present, but less and less.

S is for sugar. I’ve learned (with great disappointment) that sugar equal sadness. I can’t eat it anymore. And if I do, I pay the consequences.

S is for speed. That’s how life has been moving lately. So swiftly. How am I fifty-nine years old?

S is for scared. I am sometimes.

S is for satisfied. I am sometimes.

S is for singing. Oh, how I’ve missed you. And I’m so grateful for the reminder of the intense joy you bring me.

S is for Sunlight. It opens my heart.

S is for Spirit. I’m filled and grateful.

S is for summary. Thank goodness.

In loving,

Sarah
